DESCRIPTION

If the power steering ECU assembly determines that the motor power source voltage and the IG voltage are not within the specified range, it stops the power assist as a fail-safe function.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
  1. If the power steering ECU assembly has been replaced, perform the torque sensor zero point calibration and assist map writing (Click here).
  2. Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

  1. Disconnect the power steering ECU assembly connectors.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
